In Goldboro and Swansboro, people know that the go to place for concrete and masonry is T. S. Rhodes supply. The folks there get the job done right. They’re savvy, efficient, and creative – with their customer’s jobs, and with their own business, too.
The Rhodes family came to us when they needed to build a control room for their concrete facility, a place that would give them a good view of the machinery while it was in operation. In order to achieve the view, the building needed to be eight feet in the air, so they wanted to mount it onto an elevated concrete block foundation.
Since the buildings at Hometown are designed to be moved, that wasn’t a problem for us. They chose our 12 x 24 cedar brown aluminium siding porch model with two side windows. We delivered it to their worksite, and they took it from there. They modified the shed design slightly by adding a large window at the end. They poured footings, built a foundation, then used a crane to hoist their new control tower onto the block.
See what we mean when we say the Rhodes are savvy, efficient, and creative?! By using one of our buildings, they saved time and money, and ended up with the perfect space to oversee their concrete production.
